Just How Fast Are The Ships in Infinite Space? [Infinite Space Theory]

WARNING! THIS POST CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS FOR INFINITE SPACE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Man, it has been a while, hasn't it? Almost a year since my last post. And I can't even remember the last time I made a video game theory (still technically a hypothesis). What can you do? Life gets in the way of things. As you already know, this post contains minor spoilers for the game. If you want to avoid them, I suggest you try and play the game yourself. It's an epic story set in the far future where humans have pretty much mastered space travel. The story was what kept me hooked to the game even after its rather simplistic and quite frankly repetitive combat system lost it's charm. This is no small feat since my total play time ended up being 73 hours and 20 minutes after I finished the campaign and I got bored of the combat about 4 or 5 hours in. Enough about that let's just begin with the theory.

Some New Pokemon types that will be added (Eventually).

Pokemon has gone on for over two decades. Even though I said that I hate Pokemon, it's because of how every generation of games is pretty much exactly the same as the previous generation of games. I still admire the clever ideas, creative designs and more or less awesome mechanics that made the Pokemon franchise so great. Which is why I still enjoy Rom Hacks and fan games.

So with Pokemon being as popular as it is and with no sign of showing any reduction in popularity, I think it's safe to say, that over the years, about any and every type you can think of will be an official type at some point in time, provided that the franchise itself doesn't die.

So this and the fact that hate it or love it, it's fun discussing random things in the games. So today I felt like discussing some types which can be introduced as well as how it can effect other types. Besides, it's my blog, I can write whatever I want.

RE: Can you "Overhype" an anime

WARNING! THIS POST IS MOSTLY MY OWN OPINION AND IS VERY SUBJECTIVE IN NATURE.

Some time ago, Daziigirl made a post on unotaku.net about over-hyping an anime. This is a reply to that post. Here's the link to her post: http://unotaku.net/index.php/2016/04/20/can-you-overhype-an-anime/

Some Dere Types IRL

If you've watched a few anime series, you've probably encountered some dere types. Today I'm going to draw some real world comparisons with a few dere types. This is again, my personal opinion. Please keep that in mind.

Now, let's be realistic for a second. Everyone knows anime is the world where energy beams, death notes and giant mechs (among other things) exists. So it would be stupid to assume this things exist in the real world. Likewise, there is, as far as I know, now "deres" in the real world. So the real world stuff I will talk about are not exactly like the deres in anime. Let's begin.

Spoiling Pokemon Sun and Moon

Author's Note: This post was originally uploaded on March of 2016 on my old blog at Wordpress. Obviously, Pokemon Sun and Moon was not released at that time.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THE IMAGES USED IN THIS POST

Even before Pokemon Z came out, info regarding the Gen-7 Pokemon games, Sun and Moon were leaked to the internet. And now I'm here to spoil the plot for all of you guys.

Tests: Everybody knows they suck

DISCLAIMER: THIS POST IS BASED ON THE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF BANGLADESH. THE EDUCATION IN YOUR COUNTRY MAY BE DIFFERENT.

So, I've been inactive for the last couple of days (mostly). It's I had a big test at school. While studying for one of the relatively easier tests, my mind began to wonder. How much significance does a test hold in the grand scheme of things?

RE: Frostyflytrap's Mogeko Castle Analysis

WARNING! THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR MOGEKO CASTLE AND MAY BE IN APPROPRIATE FOR THOSE UNDER 18. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Recently, Frostyflytrap posted his theory on Mogeko Castle. Personally, I'm glad he did this. As far as I know, my old theory, Frosty's theory and this one are the only good Mogeko castle theories on the internet at this point in time. This is sorta a response post to his theory, which is actually really awesome. The reason I'm doing this is because he brought up a lot of things that I didn't even think about when writing my first theory and I think I can come up with a better one taking this new evidence into consideration. I highly recommend you go read his theory and play the game before reading this as it won't make any sense otherwise because I will reference his theory quite frequently.

What exactly Happened in Mogeko Castle?

WARNING! THIS POST CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR MOGEKO CASTLE. IT'S A GAME NOT MEANT FOR THOSE UNDER 15. AS THIS POST DISCUSSES THIS GAME, IT'S ALSO NOT MEANT FOR YOUNG READERS. READ AT YOUR RISK!

Most of you reading this probably don't know what "Mogeko Castle" is. It's a horror (?) game made using RPG Maker. It's a great game. If you haven't played it, you should. Seriously, the game's like 2-3 hours long. It won't eat up much of your time. Here's the site where I downloaded it from: http://vgperson.com/games/mogekocastle.htm

You've read the warning. Go play the game and continue reading. This post won't go anywhere.

Pokemon in a pokeball

WARNING! THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE POKEMON ANIME. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

If I remember correctly, the Pokemon anime has gone on for about 5 season. Here I summarize the story of the Pokemon anime in a single paragraph. Which season? ALL OF THEM!

Our protagonist is a 10 year old named Ash. His home is in Pallet Town. I'd like to draw your attention to the fact, that due to various business reasons, Ash's age will remain 10 even after a million years. He embarks on journey to win the Pokemon League with a single Pokemon Pikachu. To be able to enter the Pokemon League he has to defeat 8 gym leaders and get 8 gym badges. On his journey he captures various Pokemon which he uses from time to time. He meets a girl and his friend, Brock . They travel with him on his journey. On the way, learns of an evil organization whose name begins with a team. Their master plan involves changing the world in one way or another (unless they're Team Rocket) by using a legendary Pokemon. He meets people, new friends and gets a rival. He beats the 8 gym leaders eventually and enters the Pokemon League. He battles a few tough opponents and tries hard (though he should try harder) but eventually fails. But he doesn't lose hope. He says goodbye to Brock and the girl he met on his journey and returns to Pallet Town. He gives all his Pokemon to Prof. Oak (why on earth he does that, I have no idea) and rests for a few days. He then takes his Pikachu and sets out to explore a new region. And thus, the cycle repeats!

My thoughts on Earthbound

Almost everything I write in this post is speculation. They are NOT to be taken as fact. This isn't an average review. I'm just saying what I thought of different in-game elements and how they seemed from my point of view. This is just my analysis of these elements.

Earthbound is a RPG set in an sub-urban environment. This seemed  like a nice change for me. Every RPG I've played before this took place either in some sort of fantasy world or in a futuristic sci-fi world or in Pokemon world. So the environmental similarities between the real world and the world of Earthbound really stood up to me. This game was bright, cheery and colorful. It was funny, entertaining and overall childish. However, something wasn't right. I felt a steady uneasy feeling throughout the entire duration of game-play.

Before you say stuff like " You're talking about Giygas, right? " or " But, Giygas creeped a lot of guys out. How is this any different?" or maybe " You've got to be kidding! Giygas was the only thing weird in the game. What else could've been weird?" I have to say NO! See, my uneasiness  didn't start with Giygas. It started in the very early stages of the game.

The feelings first started in Twoson. At first I didn't know why. Then when I finally got to Fourside. I realized it was because of the similarities the game's world had with the real world. In other games, if I see some kind of scary monster, I can shrug it off saying " It's just a game." But here, a lot of events were a super gentle version of serious real-life situations.

Let me explain, do you remember Happy-Happy village? The people there were brain-washed into an insane religion know as Happy-Happism. Their goal: Stupid and not important. The thing is, they way the villagers were brain-washed into Happy-happism, in real life, terrorists (Doesn't matter whether they are Muslims or Christians or any other religion or something different entirely) brain-wash normal people into bombing, hijacking etc.

In Fourside you hear about a guy named Monotoli who rose to power pretty fast. He steals people's land, homes, money etc. Isn't that what corrupt politicians do? Isn't that how they gain wealth?
Also you have to go to a cafe in the city. Everyone there drinks espresso. Seems normal until you talk to the hostess. She says something like "You're too young to drink espresso." Why would you need a age limit on espresso? True, kids probably won't enjoy it but, it's not alcohol. Then again, what if this cafe represents a bar? If that's the case, this makes perfect sense. Also, a statue that you had to find was hidden in a secret room which was accessible by touching a shelf that had a lot of bottles on it. If this cafe was a representation of a bar, then Moonside could easily be a representation of what the world seemed to a someone when they were high.

Also the enemies were unnerving to me as well. The Run-away dog for instance. Why would a dog just attack you for no reason. Maybe the Run-away dog was actually rabid. The mad taxis could just represent drunk taxi drivers driving their taxis while high. Pokey was a perfect representation of a selfish person in real life. Always staying with who ever is on top. The Plague rat boss reminded me why the plague is something to be feared.

Maybe I'm just over thinking this. But as I said before, this just what I think. It may or may not be true.

P.S: I got over some of my technical issues and will be uploading the first 2 issues of my comics before Eid (hopefully).

Thanks for reading!
